Biden Hits Rock-Bottom, Now The Worst President In History

According to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll published Thursday, one in five Americans want President Joe Biden to seek reelection, while the vast majority think it’s time for him to retire.

While Biden is not even midway through his term, he is yet to achieve widespread support for reelection in 2024. According to the poll, just 18 percent of respondents think that Biden should pursue another term.

“The lowest number to date,” according to Yahoo! The figure represents a seven-point drop from the May poll when respondents were asked if he should run.

Finally, just 35 percent of Democrats — a drop of eight points from May — think Biden should run for another term. Only 9% of Republicans and 12% of independents want Biden to seek reelection.

Overall, 64 percent of Americans think that he should not run for office again.

Meanwhile, under the question “who would they want to see as the Democratic candidate for president in 2024,” just over a quarter of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents (27%) say Biden. Fewer choose VP Kamala Harris (19%), while most opt for someone else (20%), aren’t sure (30%), or wouldn’t vote (4%).

The poll was conducted July 8-11, 2022, among 1,672 Americans and is concurrent with yet another dismal economic news release, which Biden and Democrats attempted to spin. In June, consumer prices increased at a rate of 9.1 percent on an annual basis, exceeding expectations:

“Compared to a month earlier, the Consumer Price Index by the Bureau of Labor Statistics rose 1.3 percent.”

“CPI had been expected to increase at an annual rate of 8.8%, up from 8.6% in May. They expected a monthly change of 1.1 percent.” Inflation has cost American families money by pushing prices for common necessities such as food, fuel, housing, transportation, and utilities higher. The price of gasoline began to take a toll on family and company spending on other items after it went up extremely high in June and reached new all-time highs several times throughout the month.”

Biden said that the number was “unacceptably high,” and said it was “out-of-date.”

“Rising energy costs alone accounted for almost half of the monthly rise in inflation. Today’s data does not reflect the whole impact of approximately 30 days of decreased gas prices, which have reduced the cost per gallon by around 40 cents since mid-June,” Biden stated in a release, claiming that those savings alone are “providing some important breathing room for American families.”

Gas costs are up 59.9 percent, and the overall energy index has risen 41.6% in the last year, according to a new report.
