Biden Reveals Plans To Turn His Back On Stranded Americans Yet Again!

Democrat President Joe Biden and his administration have seemingly fired off a familiar warning to Americans trapped in a war-torn foreign country – “We can’t help you.”

Biden and his team warned that they will not be able to assist U.S. citizens looking to get out of Ukraine as the situation on the ground deteriorates rapidly and Russia may launch an invasion at any moment.

“Given that the President has said military action by Russia could come at any time, the U.S. government will not be in a position to evacuate U.S. citizens.” Biden’s State Department said. “So U.S. citizens, currently present in Ukraine should plan accordingly.”

The news that the administration will not be useful in helping Americans trapped in Ukraine comes on the tail of an order by the Biden administration, directing the families of all American personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine on Sunday to immediately leave the country.

“The security conditions, particularly along Ukraine’s borders, in Russia-occupied Crimea, and in Russia-controlled eastern Ukraine, are unpredictable and can deteriorate with little notice. Demonstrations, which have turned violent at times, regularly occur throughout Ukraine, including in Kyiv,” the department said.

“Do not travel to Ukraine due to the increased threats of Russian military action and COVID-19. Exercise increased caution in Ukraine due to crime and civil unrest. Some areas have increased risk.”

Critics panned the Biden administration over the announcement which was reminiscent of Biden’s failed withdrawal from Afghanistan which left American citizens trapped in a warzone.

Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire said, “Probably he’ll get everyone out. I mean, it’s not like there are still Americans stuck in Afghanistan or something.”

John Cooper of the Heritage Foundation said, “Russia has been massing for weeks, and now the Biden administration is telling Americans stuck in #Ukraine that there’s nothing they can do to get them out. This administration is criminally incompetent.”

Former Trump official Monica Crowley added, “Biden/Harris still cool with abandoning Americans in war zones.”

Karol Markowicz with the New York Post continued the criticism, saying, “We’re just going to make leaving Americans in war zones an ongoing thing, huh. I remember, in my 20s, arguing with someone that one of the great benefits of being an American was that no matter what, and no matter where, my country was going to come get me. Whoops.”

Nate Madden, GOP comms added, “Holy crap. It’s August all over again.”

Meanwhile, A top official with the European Union said early on Monday that it will not join the United States in the decision to withdraw the families of its diplomats from Ukraine.

Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, told reporters, “We are not going to do the same thing because we don’t know any specific reasons. But [U.S.] Secretary [of State Antony] Blinken will inform us.”

Borrell noted that “negotiations are going on” and that he did not see any reason to withdraw from Ukraine “unless Secretary Blinken gives us an information that justifies a move.”

AFP noted that Borrell indicated that there was no need to “dramatize” the situation – taking what seemed to be a shot at Democrat President Joe Biden.
