Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) just let the mask slip. During an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday, Kim confirmed that Democrats are considering refusing to fund the federal government in an attempt to cripple President Donald Trump’s administration.
“They have, for the last two years, needed Democratic votes for every single continuing resolution, and they should not count on that this time,” Kim said.
In other words, the left is willing to shut down the government rather than allow Trump to reverse Joe Biden’s failed policies.
Democrats Want Chaos, Not Solutions
NBC’s Kristen Welker pressed Kim on whether he was actively willing to vote to shut down the government over Trump’s policies. Instead of denying it, Kim doubled down.
“You have to look at what the Trump administration is doing right now. They are trying to dismantle the government. So yes,” Kim admitted.
This is the same fear-mongering nonsense we’ve heard from the left for years. Democrats know they don’t have the power to stop Trump through democratic means, so they resort to sabotage, tantrums, and obstruction.
Blocking Trump’s Reforms—At the Expense of Americans
Kim’s tantrum wasn’t just about politics—it was about stopping Trump’s America First policies. The left can’t stand that Trump has:
- Slashed Biden’s radical climate policies and restored America’s energy dominance.
- Deployed troops to the border and ramped up deportations.
- Ended DEI hiring quotas in federal agencies.
- Fired deep-state bureaucrats who have been obstructing his policies.
Kim whined that “we are at a point where we are basically on the cusp of a constitutional crisis.”
No, Senator. The real constitutional crisis is your party’s refusal to accept the results of a free and fair election. Democrats are throwing a fit because Trump is actually following through on his campaign promises.
Dems Are Willing to Starve the Country to Stop Trump
This is the ultimate proof that Democrats do not care about everyday Americans. They would rather shut down the government, hurt working families, and send the economy into turmoil than allow Trump to succeed.
The truth is, they aren’t afraid of Trump destroying the government—they’re afraid of him fixing it. And come next election, voters won’t forget which party put their radical agenda over the needs of the American people.
