Guess Who Just Got The Power To Deport Illegals?

The “Empowering States to Deport Illegal Immigrants Act,” introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ), will enable states to expel foreign invaders from the country without depending on the federal govt.

The bill’s draft language states that “States may empower State or local law enforcement agents to execute Federal immigration law provisions that prohibit the illegal entry into the U.S.”

As stated in the bill draft, “state prosecutors are entitled to initiate indictments for violations of Federal immigration law…in a U.S. District Court that has jurisdiction over…the site at which any such violation happened; or the place at which the individual charged with any such violation is captured.”

“The Biden administration’s neglectful border policy have been one of its low points.”

For instance, according to data from the Federation for American Immigration Reform, there were 239,416 interactions for the month of May. Over 2.9 million migrants have been encountered at the southern border thus far during Joe Biden’s administration.

The existential problem of our day is not what is happening in Ukraine but rather the flood of mass migration at the southern border. Even after suffering devastating economic downturns or losing a war, countries can still function as cohesive states. However, when they undergo complete displacement due to widespread migration, they vanish from historical memory.

A moratorium on immigration would halt all immigration and limit it to special cases. The construction of a border wall was initiated by the Trump administration, but the Biden administration did nothing to consolidate this crucial initiative for border security. The violent  enforcement of present immigration rules would lead to mass deportations, creating an “attrition via enforcement” dynamic that would deter future illegal immigration.

“Employers might use an E-Verify system to electronically check the employment status of potential workers to see whether they are eligible to reside and work in the US. Work possibilities would be one of the factors driving migration, and E-Verify would make it much more difficult for companies to hire illegal immigrants through dubious means.”

Republicans in the House should make Gosar’s idea their top priority right away if they win back control of the chamber in the 2022 midterm elections. He wants to give red states the authority to address the issue of illegal immigration on their own, independent of the corrupt and ineffective federal government.
