Hamas Issues Gut-Turning Threat To Israel

Lebanese media was informed last week by a prominent political figure in the Palestinian Hamas terror group that the organization plans to carry out its October 7 terror act again until Israel is destroyed.

The talk was translated by MEMRI. In it, Ghazi Hamad, a political leader for Hamas, claims that strikes on Israeli civilians are actually okay; that the goal of ending Israel is worth the cost of Palestinian “martyrs” and that Hamas will keep attacking Israeli civilians.

MEMRI saw this:

“Ghazi Hamad, a Hamas official, stated on a show on LBC TV (Lebanon) on October 24, 2023, that Hamas is ready to repeat the Oct. 7 ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ Operation over and over again until Israel is destroyed. He also said that Palestinians are ready to pay the cost and are happy to kill others. Hamad stated that Palestinians are actually victims of the Israeli occupation and that nobody should be blaming them for what happened on October 7 or for anything else. He also said, All the things we do is right.’”

“We will teach Israel a lesson over and over again. The Al-Aqsa Flooding was the first time something like this has happened. There is going to be a second one, a third one, as well as a fourth since we are ready to fight. Will there be a cost? We are prepared to pay it, yes. People call us a country of martyrs, and we’re happy about killing martyrs.”

“It doesn’t make sense that Israel exists. All that suffering blood, and weeping are caused by the fact that Israel exists. We are not it; it is Israel. We are the ones who are hurt by the rule. No questions asked. That’s why no one needs to blame us for what we do. Everything we do is right on October 7, October 10, and October 1,000,000.”

Hamas killed 260 people at a music event, according to Ghazi, even though they didn’t mean to. He said that “complications” made them do it.

Over 1,400 individuals were killed by Hamas on October 7. About three-quarters of those killed were civilians.

In the West, groups that support Palestine, like Students for Justice in Palestine, backed the Hamas strikes because they want to destroy Israel too. The talking points for Students for Justice in Palestine said, “This act of resistance breaks the illusion of Israel as an inviolable, unbreakable entity.” Settlers are already leaving the land; it’s easy to break their ‘dedication’ to the settlement group.”

In fact, it was the opposite: a lot of Israelis came back to serve in the military or as volunteers.
