Kamala Campaign Stressed To Breaking Point

Kamala Campaign Stressed To Breaking Point
Applying lipstick to a pig does not change the fact that there is still a pig behind the lipstick. That is the current Kamala Harris campaign, at least based on a recent story about the internal conflicts plaguing her organization.

There’s no denying that the vice president, who emerged as the front-runner without taking first place in any primary, has some momentum. For starters, Democrats are ecstatic to have another Joe Biden as their nominee. However, the support for Harris is not entirely organic. It’s the outcome of an unrelenting media effort to recast her as a gifted, likable lawmaker who exudes “joy.” MSNBC even made a comparison between Taylor Swift and Harris.

However, in the background, it’s evident that Kamala Harris remains Kamala Harris, despite the propaganda machine operating efficiently.

“Six people, including aides familiar with the dynamics, said that Kamala Harris’ campaign is negotiating internal difficulties as a team of new top strategists takes command of an organization mostly staffed by those hired when Joe Biden was the Democratic nominee.”

“According to three of the sources, longtime supporters of Harris are also dissatisfied with the participation of some Biden staffers who have a history of criticizing the vice president.”

“The discord that is developing stems from an extraordinary reorganization of the Democratic ticket, which occurred less than three months prior to the election. This challenging endeavor entails the integration of two distinct political realms while simultaneously choosing a vice presidential candidate and contesting the election of former President Donald Trump.”

Remember that the individual with whom we are speaking experienced a 92 percent staff turnover rate throughout the previous four years. That wasn’t accidental. According to accounts, Harris is a very tough person to work with and may be quite aggressive with her subordinates.

The above-mentioned instance presents a slightly more complex scenario. Biden left behind a fully staffed presidential organization after withdrawing from the race. Harris didn’t want to start dismissing employees because it would cause dissension to become visible. This has left the vice president struggling to maintain a coalition of operatives who harbor animosity towards each other.

The question is, how long can she continue this masquerade? In terms of reducing leaks, it is really helpful that she has the press by her side.

Right now, Harris does have time on her side—not because there is a lot of time left before election day, but rather because there isn’t much. She would self-destruct, as she usually does, given enough time. Harris hasn’t exactly turned into a model politician overnight, but she might be able to extend her time in office if she can avoid the spontaneous events that have always come back to haunt her.

However, at least one debate remains, and it is likely to be Donald Trump’s greatest opportunity to pull Harris off her sugarcoated, astroturfed high. Given how shaky the base is, cracks may begin to appear if her campaign suffers in any way.
