Mainstream Media Exposed For Migrant Double Standard

NBC News tried to get JD Vance, the Democratic candidate for vice president, to back up the “family separation” talking point. This was to damage President Trump’s promise to remove illegal immigrants. Luckily, it did not go their way.

Host Kristen Welker didn’t talk about the fact that since 2021, President Joe Biden’s government has kept at least 5,000 dead migrants from their families by not following border law.

Those tens of thousands of travelers have died in storms, floods, blizzards, jungles, cities, and on the job. So many people have died that thousands of parents and children will never be able to be together again because Biden made the offer of entering the U.S. too lucrative.

NBC’s Welker also didn’t talk about Biden’s mass separations when she asked Vance to promise that illegal immigrants’ children would not be taken from them when the adults are jailed for breaking border laws:

“Would you split up families as part of your plan to remove a lot of people?” … Let me ask you a basic question: will families be split up when you remove people? …”. A lot of people want to know the answer to this question: “Will your strategy of mass deportation divide families?”

Welken asked these questions, Vance quickly sidestepped them and wouldn’t give her any video clips to use in attack ads for the Democrats. This is what he said:

“Kamala Harris says Trump wants to split up families. A huge number of migrant children are now living with drug gangs and sex traffickers because of Kamala Harris’s policies. Yes, that is what happened because of her actions…”

“As for separating families, there was less of it under Trump’s “zero tolerance” border policy than under Kamala Harris’s. That’s what makes this so interesting. It is the most decent thing to do to actually enforce our border, both for children and for Americans.”

Welken said, “But I don’t hear you denying that families will be split up.”

Vance said, “Kristen, I would say that the main reason people are moving is that Kamala Harris won’t do her job as border chief.”

Administration officials who spoke to Axios.com say that Biden asked Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to play a key role in the migration problem, but Harris “ran away.”

Welken said something after she lost the interview to Vance:

“One more thing about Senator Vance’s claim about separating families. The Trump administration divided more than 5,500 families, most of them because of the “zero tolerance” policy. The Department of Homeland Security says that up to 1,000 children are now split from their families.”

Even if 1,000 children and teens are still split from their illegal immigrant parents, this is less harmful than death, which is what could happen with Biden’s welcome.
