Republicans Who Betrayed Trump Now Exposed And Shamed

According to a recently discovered NPR interview, the person who leaked the Steele Dossier in 2017 to Buzzfeed did it as a sort of “Hail Mary” gamble to stop former Trump from becoming president.

A past State Dept. official and friend of Sen. John McCain, David Kramer, leaked the dossier, which was written by Christopher Steele, a former U.K. spy, to Buzzfeed and other news organizations.

In 2019, Peter Fritsch and Glenn Simpson, the men who hired Steele for the DNC and Hillary’s presidential campaign in 2016, were interviewed by NPR.

During the interview, an important revelation emerges about the timing of the Steele Dossier. According to Simpson and Fritsch, the Steele Dossier was leaked to Buzzfeed News in order to “interfere” with Trump’s presidential inauguration.

“GROSS: Who was the whistleblower?”

“FRITSCH: So there was a John McCain – someone who was near to McCain was David Kramer, who is a former –  and worked in the State Dept. for human rights for a lot of years and is all about attacking Russia. He found out about the document thru Christopher Steele’s network of associates and his former M16 colleagues. They met with Sen. McCain at the Halifax meeting, which is a globalist meeting.  They made the decision to pursue this. David Kramer went to London to meet with Christopher Steele, who then showed him the dossier. He was worried about giving the document to David Kramer to be carried on an airplane, so he requested that we give it to him, and Glenn did.”

Gross added that Kramer’s plan was “ironic,” given that a McCain “aide” revealed the document.

“Do you find it amusing that it was an aide of McCain’s who published the dossier in the hopes of stopping Donald Trump from being sworn in?” Gross asked. “And it’s Lindsey Graham, who was one of McCain’s nearest friends, who is one of the leaders that is trying to challenge Mueller’s findings and your research, as well as supporting Donald Trump?”

“I think it’s laughable,” Simpson said. “I consider it hypocritical. And I find it sad that so many people who are aware of the facts are now defending Donald Trump. So yes, I believe – you know, the conservatives paid for part one of our investigation, and they’re claiming everything was a Democratic hoax now. It doesn’t make any sense.”
