New Trump 2024 Survey Has Democrats In Panic Mode

According to an October Harris Poll/HarrisX poll, former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in a possible 2024 contest.

The survey questioned participants, “If the 2024 presidential election took place today and the candidates were Donald Trump, a Republican, and Joe Biden, a Dem., which one would you vote for

Overall, 45 percent picked Trump, 43 percent said Biden, and 12 percent said they were undecided.

Trump, the obvious frontrunner of the hypothetical Republican race, leads Vice President Kamala Harris by 11 percentage points, or 49 percent to 38 percent, in a hypothetical 2024 contest.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump waves to the crowd as he heads to the platform for a campaign event at Legacy Sports USA in Mesa, Arizona on Oct. 9, 2022. Trump was campaigning for Republican candidates in Arizona, including gubernatorial hopeful Kari Lake, ahead of the Nov. 8 midterm elections.

Voters are not enthusiastic about Biden running again, with a majority, 55 percent, having “doubts” about his mental competence. 67 percent of independents, 83 percent of Republicans, and 22 percent of Democrats agree.

Furthermore, the survey found that Trump’s approval ratings on a range of problems in January 2021 were still higher than Biden’s in October 2022.

In January 2021, for example, 56 percent approved of Trump’s management of the economy. In Oct. 2022, only 39% approve of Biden’s economic management. This pattern is continuing in a number of subjects.
