This week, former President Donald Trump attacked Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), saying that she is a real danger to democracy and that she is “more of a cognitive mess than Sleepy Crooked Joe” for her apparent physical and cognitive problems.
“Crazy Nancy Pelosi is a greater mental disaster than Sleepy Crooked Joe.” In a post on X, Trump claimed that she also had a deadly case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
She is a completely crazy person who tried to impeach me twice and failed. She is now barely making an appearance, accusing me of being a threat to democracy. Pelosi, who is eighty-four, is “trying to tell everybody that would listen that Crooked Joe is a mental giant, and in fantastic form, which everyone knows, he is not,” Trump responded. “No, this is simply Radical Left Democrat disinformation, which is all that they’re good at,” Trump said.
Using a popular leftist phrase, he declared, “She’s just perpetuating the LIE to the American People,” concluding that her actions represent a real threat to democracy.
“Remember, Crazy Nancy accepted full responsibility for her failure to do her duties on January 6th. She is a very serious danger to democracy. I appreciate her daughter providing the recording of Nancy’s “confession,” and I know it was her fault, but why did it take so long? It’s illegal to conceal evidence!”
Trump’s statement coincides with Pelosi’s cautious stance in the wake of Biden’s dismal debate performance, which has Democrats throughout the nation in a panic. Pelosi has persisted in deflecting rather than concentrating on the pressing issues. Days after the debate, Pelosi made the odd claim that Trump, not Biden, may be suffering from dementia when she appeared on CNN’s State of the Union.
Pelosi effectively sidestepped the mounting worries about Biden’s physical and mental capacity by remarking, “Interestingly, the media—and for some reason they don’t—some medical specialists believe that Trump is suffering from dementia.”
The way he connects his thoughts is not coherent. Moreover, he consistently perpetuates falsehoods. He’s not even aware of reality. Thus, let’s be fair while discussing mental sharpness,” the speaker stated.
Pelosi appeared on MSNBC’s Inside that same day, during which she called Trump a “dangerous person and evil.”
The 84-year-old cushioned the blow by saying that it is appropriate to ask of “both candidates,” even if she has acknowledged that it is a “valid issue” to inquire about whether Biden’s debate performance was an anomaly or a condition.
Trump’s statement follows Pelosi’s combative exchange with a reporter about her stance on Biden continuing in the race in light of Democratic concerns. The former speaker angrily interrupted the reporter, telling her that she would not talk about the “fate of our nation” in a corridor.
Pelosi claimed she thought Biden might win in November when the interviewer asked whether she was worried about Biden’s chances of winning. However, she became agitated once again and questioned, “Am I speaking English to you? At this time, I will not be speaking in the hallway about anything.
Pelosi declared on Wednesday that Biden is “beloved, he is respected, and people want him to make that decision,” adding that it is “up to the president to determine if he is going to run.”
Regarding Democrats, she declared, “We go with whatever he decides.”
