Trump Decimates Radical Governor Over Plot to Erase Women

The radical Left’s war on truth, biology, and fairness just hit a new low—this time in Maine, where Democrats in the state House voted to enshrine the gender ideology cult into the state constitution itself.

Last week, Maine’s Democrat-controlled House passed LD 260, a bill that would permanently codify the Maine Human Rights Act—including its 2021 amendment adding “gender identity”—into the state constitution. What does that mean? It means boys who claim to be girls will have a permanent, constitutionally protected right to take over female sports in Maine.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t about discrimination. It’s about obliterating reality and bulldozing the rights of women and girls.

And they’re not even hiding it anymore. Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey, a Democrat, told CNN: “Our position is that Title IX, consistent with the Maine Human Rights Act… supports that trans girls will be able to participate in high school sports consistent with their gender identity.” In other words, Democrats are doubling down on the fantasy that gender identity trumps biological sex—even when that means robbing young women of scholarships, safety, and dignity.

Enter President Donald Trump.

After Maine officials openly defied Trump’s executive order “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” the U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the state for violating federal law. The DOJ accused Maine of “openly and defiantly flouting” Title IX and putting girls at risk by allowing boys to compete in girls’ sports—and even, in some cases, share locker rooms.

And if you think this is theoretical, think again.

In February, a transgender-identifying boy took the Maine Class B girls’ track and field championship title—stripping a deserving female athlete of her rightful victory. This isn’t inclusion. It’s injustice.

Trump didn’t mince words. At the Republican Governors Association dinner, he warned Maine Governor Janet Mills that federal funding would be pulled if she continued violating the law.

“We are the federal law,” Trump said. “You better comply, or you’re not getting any federal funding… your population also doesn’t want men in women’s sports.” When Mills fired back with a smug “See you in court,” Trump didn’t flinch: “Good. See you in court, that should be a real easy one.”

And he’s right.

Multiple federal agencies—Education, HHS, and even the USDA—have now found Maine in violation of Title IX. Investigations have been launched. Funding for K-12 programs is already on the chopping block. The only thing saving Mills and her gender radical allies—for now—is a federal judge temporarily blocking those cuts.

But make no mistake: the clock is ticking.

What’s at stake here isn’t just funding. It’s the future of girls’ sports, the meaning of federal law, and the foundational truth that men are not women.

President Trump has drawn a line in the sand—and Maine Democrats have decided to cross it. For the sake of every young girl in America, let’s hope the courts, and the voters, are watching.
