Elon Musk isn’t just watching from the sidelines—he’s in the trenches making sure President Trump’s America First agenda actually happens. In a revealing sit-down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Musk laid out his role in the Trump administration’s newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and how it’s cutting through the deep-state bureaucracy that tried to stall Trump’s policies during his first term.
Musk: My Job Is Helping Trump
Musk described his role in simple terms: he’s the “tech support” making sure Trump’s executive orders aren’t ignored by unelected, swamp-dwelling bureaucrats.
“That may seem like: Is that a silly thing? But actually it’s a very important thing, because the president will make these executive orders, which are very sensible and good for the country, but then they don’t get implemented,” Musk explained.
A prime example? The Biden-era scam where American tax dollars funded luxury hotels for illegal migrants.
“If you take the funding for the migrant hotels, the president issued an executive order that we need to stop taking taxpayer money and paying for luxury hotels for illegal immigrants. It makes no sense. People do not want their tax dollars going to fund high-end hotels for illegals,” Musk said.
But even after Trump’s order was issued, government workers ignored it and continued funneling money to New York City’s migrant hotel racket.
Musk’s team at DOGE stepped in. “We went in there and we’re like, ‘This is a violation of the presidential executive order, and it needs to stop,’” Musk said. And just like that, the scam was shut down.
The Deep State Is Panicking— The Swamp is Draining for Real This Time
The Department of Government Efficiency is doing what the entire DC establishment fears most: holding bureaucrats accountable.
When Musk exposed the illegal funding scheme, four FEMA employees—including the agency’s chief financial officer—were fired on the spot.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem then recovered the stolen $50 million, and issued a warning: “Mark my words: there will not be a single penny spent that goes against the interest and safety of the American people.”
This is what real accountability looks like.
Musk’s Trump Endorsement Surprise
Musk also made waves during the interview when he revealed that he had planned to officially endorse Trump even before the 2024 election, but the attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, sped up his decision.
“I was going to do it anyway,” Musk said, as Trump sat next to him.

This Time, the Bureaucrats Don’t Stand a Chance
One of Trump’s biggest challenges during his first term was the unelected deep-state operatives inside federal agencies who openly sabotaged his policies. Now, with Musk’s DOGE team rooting them out in real time, the old tricks won’t work.
The swamp is on notice. Trump isn’t just giving orders—Musk and his team are making sure they’re actually enforced.
The Trump-Musk alliance is draining the swamp like never before, and the left is absolutely losing its mind over it.
