On Monday, President Donald Trump denounced the political climate in the United States as “dangerous” following an FBI raid on his home at Mar-a-Lago, offering to aid the Justice Department in cooling off simmering anger.
On Sunday evening, the president shared on social media that he had seen “great simmering anger” while he spent time with a group of people.
He wrote:
“I just left a large group of people, and they were only discussing how the Radical Left Democrats have full control over the DOJ & FBI. That shouldn’t be happening. Despite numerous crimes like murder, assault, and burning down parts of cities, BLM, ANTIFA, and others are not attacked by anyone. They definitely won’t go after the home of a former Democrat President either, which is good. Things are so out of proportion that there’s great simmering anger!”
On Monday, President Trump spoke to Fox News, again claiming that the “outpouring of tremendous anger” was growing across the country.
“There hasn’t been a moment like this when law enforcement was utilized to enter the home of a former president of the United States, and there is massive fury throughout the nation—to a degree that has never occurred before, other than during extremely perilous circumstances,” Trump added.
When Fox News asked if he would help lower the “temperature” of America’s political climate, he replied that he would be willing to assist in any way possible.
Supporters of former President Donald J. Trump rallied near his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on August 14, 2022.
He claimed that he “had his representatives contact the Department of Justice to offer assistance as a result of outrage over” the Mar-a-Lago raid.
He blamed the Biden administration’s Department of Justice for fostering his supporters’ fury, but he had not heard from any of the officials regarding the issue.
But he emphasized that the FBI’s search has become a major source of tension for his supporters.
On August 14, 2022, the number of supporters of former President Trump continues to grow.
Trump warned, “The nation is in a very perilous position. There is overwhelming anger such as I’ve never seen before–over all of the fraudulent schemes, and this new one–after years of deceptions and witch hunts.”
“People are furious about what is going on,” Trump added. “Whatever we can do to assist—because the country’s temperature has to be lowered. If it isn’t, terrible things will happen.”
