Chair James Comer (R-KY) has made it clear from the beginning that he wants to gather as much proof as possible so that when they bring a case that can’t be argued with, it’s just a matter of putting it all together. From what Comer stated in an interview with Fox Business, it seems like he is now convinced they are at that point.
Comer talked about the new information about the fake names used by Joe Biden in 5400 emails, including one in which he talks about Ukraine and copies Hunter right before the Ukrainian prosecutor had been fired. Comer also brought up the fact that Hunter Biden had been on Air Force Two at least fifteen different times, and at least a portion of those trips seemed to be for business. “More and more evidence keeps coming in,” Comer said.
After talking with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Comer stated that he was pretty sure they would start the impeachment investigation shortly after Labor Day, September 4. He claimed that acquiring proof out of the Biden administration was “like pulling teeth” and that was part of the reason it had taken so long.
“Nobody in the Biden circle is helping, and the government is making it hard,” he said, but they still got the proof. Then, Comer said that he believes everyone within the Republican party thinks that they have no other option but to continue moving toward an impeachment investigation.
As we’ve said before, Comer is also looking into the records regarding the Air Force Two plane since he says Joe Biden hasn’t told the truth regarding anything concerning this.
“I do not believe anyone in this country believes that those foreign nationals sent money over to the Bidens’ shell companies from the goodness that was in their hearts,” he said.
Comer said that a number of the individuals the Bidens were working with were being probed for corruption in the countries they were from. He called some of those individuals “bad people” coming from “bad countries” that were opposed to the U.S. He said that they were hoping that the Biden name could help them get out of danger.
As I said before, the trips themselves can be enough to show that the office was abused if they are able to connect them to emails along with other proof that they were for business. They have previously obtained emails showing the same thing. Just for that, he could be taken out of office.
So it appears that they may finally be prepared to go, and things are about to become very interesting.
