Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are doing precisely what they’re supposed to do—enforcing federal law and deporting criminal illegal aliens who threaten our communities. But Democrat officials like California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass are openly defying federal authority, stoking outrage, and effectively encouraging violent protests and riots. It’s no exaggeration to say they prefer to see their cities burn rather than admit that Trump is right and the law must be upheld.
Make no mistake: this is nothing less than a Democrat-led insurrection against the rule of law. We’ve seen this movie before, during the summer of 2020, when cities like Portland, Minneapolis, and Seattle burned while Democrat politicians stood idly by—or even cheered the chaos as “mostly peaceful.” Now, they’re setting the stage for another destructive sequel because President Trump refuses to back down from his America First agenda.
The Democrats’ motives for protecting illegal immigration are as transparent as they are cynical. First, there’s the obvious exploitation factor—cheap labor that doesn’t demand decent wages or benefits. It’s a modern-day version of the Democrats’ old playbook, dating back to their shameful embrace of slavery. Then, of course, there’s political survival. This radical faction demands open borders and the dismantling of ICE, and Democrats like Newsom and Bass obediently comply, no matter the cost.

Trump is enforcing immigration law firmly and unapologetically, deporting criminals who have no right to be here, and restoring safety to American communities.
The Democrats now face a lose-lose scenario: either allow ICE to do its constitutional duty or watch their cities descend into chaos and violence. Trump has already shown he’s prepared to deploy the National Guard to restore order where Democrat leaders fail. As he recently stated, “We will not tolerate lawlessness. This violent insurrectionist strategy might help Democrats temporarily cling to power in their failing urban enclaves, but it spells disaster for them nationally. History shows that when Democrats embrace lawlessness, they lose—and lose big. Just recall the 1960s and 1970s, when soft-on-crime liberals were decisively rejected in five out of six presidential elections.
