Over the weekend, a group of protestors gathered under the slogan “No Kings,” trying to make noise against President Donald Trump. They tried to paint him as some sort of ruler who doesn’t respect the law. But when you look a little closer, the truth is much simpler. These protests were not about truth or defending freedom. They were just another empty show—more noise from the same people who have been angry since President Trump first stepped into office.
Former Congressman Pete King said it best when he called the protests “absolutely nothing.” He’s right. These demonstrations were not about helping Americans or solving real problems. They were just political theater, a stage play put on by people who don’t like the direction our country is heading. They don’t like President Trump because he stands up for the people, for the Constitution, and for the values that built this nation. And they can’t stand that he’s back in the White House doing exactly what he promised: putting America first.
The “No Kings” slogan is meant to scare people. It suggests that President Trump is acting like a dictator. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, the only people who acted like kings were the ones who pushed lockdowns, forced mandates, and trampled on personal freedoms under the last administration. President Trump believes in the power of the American people. He believes in law and order, in strong borders, and in a country where citizens—not unelected bureaucrats—make the decisions that affect their lives.
Former Georgia Representative Jack Kingston also raised an important issue. Many of the groups behind these protests are supposed to be non-political charities. They get tax breaks from the government so they can focus on helping people, not playing politics. But now we’re seeing more and more of these so-called “charities” using their money and influence to push radical political ideas. That’s not right. If these groups are using their funds to attack the President or push a political agenda, they shouldn’t be allowed to keep their nonprofit status. Congress needs to take a close look at this.
The American people are tired. Tired of being lied to. Tired of being called names if they support their President. Tired of being told that up is down and wrong is right. These “No Kings” protests are just the latest example of how far the left will go to spread fear and division. But the good news is that their message is falling flat. Most folks can see through the act. They know these protests are not about justice or freedom. They are about power—plain and simple.
We must remember what makes America special. This country was built on faith, family, and hard work. It was built by men and women who believed in something greater than themselves. President Trump understands that. He doesn’t want to be a king. He wants to be a servant of the people, a leader who defends our borders, strengthens our economy, and protects our freedoms.
The loudest voices on the left may keep shouting, but they do not speak for the majority of Americans. The silent majority still believes in the flag, in the Constitution, and in the idea that our best days are still ahead. We need to stay strong, stay informed, and hold fast to the values that make this nation great.
In times like these, the answer is not more protests or angry slogans. The answer is more truth, more courage, and more love for this land we call home. Let others play their political games. We will keep building, keep praying, and keep fighting for the country we love.
