It’s ludicrous – even if a person’s hospitalization isn’t primarily due to COVID-19, it still triggers a mandate. This situation is a reminder of the missed opportunity to hold accountable those responsible for the egregious violation of basic rights during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
