The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, just dropped a bombshell: thousands of pandemic-era loans, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, were allegedly handed out to applicants listed as 11 years old or younger—and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
According to DOGE’s findings, the Small Business Administration (SBA) granted 5,593 loans worth $312 million to borrowers whose only listed owner was a child. While there are rare legal circumstances where a minor could own a business, DOGE noted that every single one of these cases also used an incorrect Social Security Number—meaning fraud was almost certainly at play.
It gets worse. DOGE also revealed that 3,095 loans worth $333 million were issued to applicants over 115 years old—all of whom were still listed as alive in government records. One individual, allegedly 157 years old, received $36,000 in taxpayer-funded COVID relief loans.
This is the kind of government waste that has plagued Washington for decades, but Trump’s new administration isn’t playing around. DOGE has already been slashing bloated contracts, including a $10.3 million USDA deal supposedly meant to “identify unnecessary contracts” (you can’t make this up). Since its inception, DOGE has been ruthlessly combing through federal spending to cut waste and return government to the people, not the bureaucrats and scammers who thrive off corruption.
Naturally, the left is in full meltdown mode. The labor union-backed Democracy Forward group has rushed to federal court, demanding an emergency order to block DOGE’s access to Social Security data. Their claim? That Musk and Trump’s administration are overstepping boundaries by uncovering corruption at breakneck speed. Funny how the same people who told us we needed federal oversight when it came to tracking Americans’ finances through the IRS now suddenly want government fraud off-limits when it benefits them.
Federal judges have been scrambling to deal with the unprecedented scale of Trump’s efficiency crackdown, with multiple lawsuits challenging the legality of DOGE itself. But while the bureaucracy fights to protect its waste, fraud, and abuse, the American people are seeing, in real time, how much of their hard-earned tax dollars have been flushed down the drain under the guise of “helping” during the pandemic.
This is exactly why Trump was re-elected. This is why the left is terrified. The gravy train is over, and they know it.
