Swing State No Longer “Swing” – Everyone Shocked!

A new survey projects that former President Donald Trump will triumph handily in Pennsylvania, a critical swing state.

The most recent survey from the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) shows that President Trump is leading Governor Joe Biden by four points among Pennsylvania voters, with Trump receiving 49% of the vote and Biden receiving 45%.

According to AARP Pennsylvania, Trump’s margin is even greater among voters 50 and older, who accounted for more than half of the state’s electorate in 2020. According to the survey, the current president is trailing the former president by 52% to 42%.

According to Bill Johnston Walsh, state director of AARP Pennsylvania, “voters over 50 are a significant voting group that all candidates are striving for in this race.”

“Leaders in Pennsylvania, regardless of party affiliation, should defend Social Security and offer assistance to family caregivers.” Candidates should focus on subjects that are important to Pennsylvanians over the age of fifty if they hope to win, according to Walsh.

Prescription medicine, Social Security, and Medicare policies are critical factors in the decisions made by a majority of older Pennsylvania voters. Fifty percent of voters who are older than fifty feel that a candidate’s stance on Social Security matters.

According to the survey, the former president is also leading Pennsylvania’s independents by a substantial 10-point margin.

In the Keystone State, Trump leads Biden, according to several surveys. The average polling data for RealClearPolitics indicates that Trump is ahead in the state by around two points.

A Pennsylvania victory for Trump would significantly reduce Biden’s chances of winning.

In 2020, out of over 6.8 million votes cast, Biden defeated Trump by just over 80,000 in Pennsylvania. For the first time since 1988, Republicans had taken Pennsylvania in a presidential election when he won the state in 2016.

Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin were among the many additional battleground states that the former president lost. Though in many instances, Trump’s advantage is within the margin of error, these swing states now seem to be in his favor.

Based on the average of surveys conducted by RealClearPolitics, Trump leads Biden nationally by little more than one point.

With six months to go until the election, both Trump and Biden have intensified their campaign tactics. Democrats have focused more on the abortion issue, while Republicans have intensified their assaults on the economy under Biden.

Trump is fighting many legal battles, one of which has kept him confined to a Manhattan courthouse for the entire week in recent weeks. On Wednesdays, when the court is not in session, he has planned rallies and other campaign events for the nights, weekends, and other times.
