America’s Top Trump Hater Now In Big Trouble

Rep. Elizabeth Cheney (R-WY), as we’ve noted, is in dire straits in her primary on August 16. She’s 30 points behind Harriet Hageman, the Trump-endorsed challenger who has a massive 30-point lead over Ms. Cheney, according to polls. All accounts indicate that she will be utterly destroyed by historic proportions.

She does, however, have some Democrats attempting to defend her conduct. She just received an endorsement that will undoubtedly put her over the top — former Democratic senator Al Franken, who has been disgraced.

I’m leaving the door open to the idea that this is a comedy stunt because Franken is now said to be doing it, given the groping allegations and his decision to step down from the Senate. An endorsement from Franken will not benefit Cheney. If anything, it would persuade any remaining undecided Wyomingite to run towards Hageman. But it’s like adding one more item to the list of reasons why you shouldn’t vote for Cheney.

Cheney’s Democratic pals are already attempting to find an excuse for her loss, but more to try to defile the GOP. According to Democratic strategist David Axelrod, she was unable to campaign because of the dangers she faced.

Is that her excuse for not attending any Republican town halls or events over the last two years? What a useless representative.

But she was at an event with hundreds of people, which calls into question Axelrod’s statement. It’s all about trying to portray Republicans in a bad light. But the image is hilarious and says it all when it comes to how many people she attracts for any cause. Take a look at their body language; they’re bored and uninterested.

The guy with a beard is fantastic, and the two young men in checked shirts appear as they’d rather be doing anything else.

This is the best she can do to promote herself with this tweet? The turnout is dismal, and the attitude reflects it.

But this is where she is right now. As a result, on Tuesday, Franken notwithstanding, she will be shown the exit.
