Biden Issues The One Sentence That No Peace-Loving President Would Ever Make

According to reports, U.S. President Joe Biden has stated that the United States will engage in military action if China invades Taiwan.

In a press conference in Tokyo this week, Biden said that if Taiwan requires assistance defending itself from China, the United States military will assist.

“You did not want to get involved in the Ukraine war militarily for obvious reasons,” a journalist inquired of the president. If Taiwan’s existence comes under threat, would you be willing to use military force to defend it?

“That’s right. That is the commitment we made,” Biden said while making remarks beside of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

“China should not take Taiwan by force,” the president reiterated.

“It is just not right,” he added.

The Biden administration’s One China policy, according to a White House spokesman, “has not altered.”

“Our policy has not changed, as the president stated,” according to the spokesperson. “He reaffirmed our One China Policy and our dedication to peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait. He also reaffirmed our promise under the Taiwan Relations Act to give Taiwan military weapons so that it may defend itself.”

According to Fox News, the “One China policy” stipulates that the United States accepts the People’s Republic of China as “the sole legal government of China,” but does not recognize Beijing’s claim that Taiwan is part of China.

Wang Wenbin, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, stated that he was dissatisfied with and opposed to Biden’s statements.

“China has no tolerance for concessions or compromise on issues involving China’s vital interests such as sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Wang added.

In October, Biden stated that the United States would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, to which a ministry spokesperson responded, “No one should underestimate China’s strong resolve, determination, or capability to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.” China has no place for negotiation.

Experts predict that China could one morning invade the small island nation which was once a part of China. If America intervenes it would surely be WW3.
