Biden Warned Not To Support War Against Iran

President Joe Biden has been urged by 45 non-governmental organizations to vehemently denounce the words of Tom Nides, the US ambassador to Israel, who indicated that the US would back Israel in “any action” its government takes against Iran.

“For the sake of regional stability, upcoming negotiations, and adherence to Congress’ constitutional duty for war powers, the organizations wrote a letter to Biden urging that he clarify that these words do not reflect American policy towards Iran.”

The Organizations fear that Israel’s right-winging government will “perceive these words as tacit encouragement for military action, even though such action most likely would damage US national security interests, further enmeddle our military in regional war, and hinder future negotiations.”

The announcement of the warning follows Nides’ recent statement that “Israel may and should be doing whatever is necessary to deal with Iran and we’ve got their back.”

Under the claim that Iran was about to develop nuclear weapons, the Israeli government has frequently threatened to target Iranian infrastructure and institutions.

The NGOs also urged Biden to publicly and privately express his “opposition to the military option known,” arguing that any military action by Israel will lead to a wider regional conflict. “Setting an exceedingly dangerous precedent and risking additional escalation, publicly or even privately giving US support for unspecified military action by Israel, or any ally, is extremely perilous,” the Organizations said.

The group of Organizations said, “Ambassador Nides’ loose rhetoric raises the concern that perhaps the administration may again disregard Congress’ constitutional duty and the public’s obvious preference by jumping into a conflict in which the people and their representatives have no control.” Plus, they added that it is “confounding that Ambassador Nides claimed that Israel’s unilateral decision-making will constrain US foreign policy. It is never advisable for the United States to delegate its foreign policy to other nations since doing so would be extremely irresponsible and a breach of the government’s duty to safeguard the American people.”

The Biden administration has recently worked closely with Israel to conduct cooperative military drills, probably in advance of a possible military strike against Iran.

The recent agreement by Russia to deliver fighter jets to Iran and Saudi Arabia to resume diplomatic relations with Iran, however, suggest that the rules of the game have altered. In its efforts to restrict Iran, Israel has likely lost its most crucial Arab strategic ally as a result of the latter.

Israel’s sole option for containing Iran is to rely on the US.

Any efforts to control Iran will be put on hold because the US is already focused on fighting a proxy war against Russia in Ukraine and is still attempting to pivot to China. Despite this, the American Deep State still consists of fanatical neocons and deranged zionists who want to invade Iran. One thing is certain: an America First takeover of the federal government is the only way to get rid of these poisonous individuals. It’s possible that the Biden administration will ignore these factors.

If politics stays the same, these poisonous creatures will continue to slither around Congress and wield undue influence on American foreign policy decision-making greatly to the harm of the interests of Middle America.
