President Donald Trump isn’t playing games when it comes to holding China accountable for its decades of unfair trade practices, fentanyl exports, and economic sabotage. In response to Trump’s new 10% across-the-board tariffs, China is now desperately offering to reinstate the 2020 Phase One trade deal, which it abandoned when Biden took office and let them off the hook.
The deal—originally signed in Trump’s first term—required China to purchase $200 billion in U.S. goods over two years, including $50 billion in agricultural products, $75 billion in manufacturing, and $50 billion in energy supplies. Predictably, China never honored it after Biden bent the knee to Beijing.
TikTok’s Future in Peril as China Offers Trade Concessions
In another sign of China’s panic, Beijing is reportedly allowing ByteDance investors to negotiate the sale of TikTok to U.S. buyers. However, China is still clinging to control over its precious propaganda machine: TikTok’s secret algorithm.
For years, Democrats refused to act, ignoring national security concerns while allowing China’s spyware app to infiltrate American households. Now, Trump’s America-First strategy is forcing the CCP to reconsider its grip on one of its most powerful soft-power tools.
Trump Exposes China’s Role in America’s Fentanyl Crisis
Tariffs aren’t just about trade—they’re also about stopping China from poisoning American citizens with deadly fentanyl, which has already killed at least 281,000 Americans in just four years.
Trump called out Beijing’s role in the crisis and is demanding real action. China, however, is playing the victim card, claiming that America needs to “solve its own fentanyl issue” and whining about “arbitrary tariff hikes.”
Translation: “Stop holding us responsible for flooding your streets with lethal drugs.”
Meanwhile, Republicans are likening China’s fentanyl exports to a modern-day Opium War, accusing the communist regime of using drugs as a weapon to weaken American society—just as European nations did to China in the 19th century.
Mexico Folds, China Holds Its Breath
While China is stalling, Mexico has already folded under Trump’s pressure. After Mexico was hit with 25% tariffs, its new President Claudia Sheinbaum quickly caved, agreeing to deploy 10,000 troops to stop illegal immigration and drug smuggling at the border.
With Mexico now cooperating, Trump paused its tariffs for a month—but Canada and China are still on the chopping block.
Trump’s Tariffs Are Working
While Biden let China run wild, Trump is proving once again that the U.S. holds the upper hand in economic negotiations. His America-First strategy is already forcing concessions from China, border action from Mexico, and panic in the globalist establishment.
Democrats are melting down over Trump’s success—because nothing triggers the Left more than a strong America that refuses to bow to foreign interests.
