The President’s remarks have required “fixing” in those transcripts no less than 148 times since January 1, 2024. He was not only in need of correction, but it was also critical to comprehend why it was necessary.
“The White House provides an official transcript for each speech or question period the president gives.” Communications staff frequently adds to, alters, or modifies Biden’s formal pronouncements in order to either adhere to official White House policy or, in some cases, reflect reality, according to a Daily Caller investigation. In other cases, it was essential to change official comments to represent Biden’s exact opposite viewpoint. The White House has publicly corrected its transcript with adjustments based on 118 statements, speeches, and interviews with reporters between January 1 and April 24. The president made at least 148 utterances in person.”
Corrections, of course. The onion is in the fact that it is not just correcting the things he said but also adding the things he “should have said but didn’t.” You are aware of the situation.
“Just one of the adjustments is the correction of names, dates, and organization titles.” By rearranging the verbs, some entirely change the meaning of the president’s words. The White House staff has added things to the transcripts that they feel the president should have stated but declined to. “It was then, with no — via my American Rescue Plan — which every GOP member voted against, I may say — we made the greatest investment in public safety ever,” Biden stated in the White House transcript of his March State of the Union address.
So, unnamed employees are making assumptions about the US president.
It is true that the president occasionally makes poor decisions; as a result, he may benefit from some second-guessing. Joe Biden has never been a compelling speaker in his extensive career—during which he has never worked a day in his life. Even at his best, he was never more than a middling orator—and I mean that in the broadest sense possible. I don’t mean his supposed stutter; if you watch this 1987 speech—the year he had to withdraw from the presidential race over plagiarism allegations—you’ll see no concrete proof of it.
This goes beyond simple speech issues. It is a cognitive impairment. This is the one guy who may be the strongest man on Earth, yet he is constantly getting worse, both mentally and physically. It’s getting harder and harder to hide.
Of particular importance is “adding stuff he should have expressed but didn’t.” The president may have chosen not to speak, but these unelected and mostly unknown staff members are adding words to the record of American history that they feel he should have said.
It makes sense that former President Donald Trump is ahead in the polls despite his legal issues.
Rather than an accidental comedy, the Biden administration has devolved into a farce. Since this is still a disaster, November cannot come soon enough.
