Dems Release Gun Owners’ Addresses… Is Your Name On This List?

The far-left Democratic state government is doxxing California gun owners in order to put a bulls-eye on their backs.

This week, the California Department of Justice debuted its 2022 Firearms Dashboard Portal. The database displays personally identifiable information on individuals who hold concealed carry licenses in the state.

The list contains the applicant’s complete name, address, race, birthday, and date of permit issuance. Attorney General Rob Bonta claims that this information was released due to a mistake and the office is attempting to correct it.

“We are investigating an incident in which individuals’ personal information on the DOJ Firearms Dashboard may have been exposed,” according to a spokesman for the Attorney General’s office. “Any unauthorized disclosure of private data is inexcusable. We are quickly addressing this problem and will provide further information as soon as possible.”

In response to the intrusive regulations of the California Democrat state government, the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) is considering a lawsuit.

“Vindictive sore losers have put people’s lives at risk and provoked the conflict by illegally releasing private information,” CRPA President Chuck Michel told The Reload. “CRPA is in talks with several sheriffs and legislators to assess the extent of the harm caused by DOJ’s doxing of law-abiding gun owners. Litigation looks imminent.”

“Radical Democrats support Draconian policies to punish gun owners,” according to news reports.

According to new polling, close to 40% of Democrats now support national gun confiscation, much like proposals put forth by candidates such as Beto O’Rourke.

According to a recent Zogby Analytics poll, 36% of Democrats back the notion of confiscating guns from law-abiding gun owners.

Even many forward-thinking Democratic politicians may have found it difficult to comprehend just a few months ago, but far-fetched Democratic bids for the presidency appear to have helped mainstream the concept. Both Beto O’Rourke and Eric Swalwell advocated taking semiautomatic guns away from law-abiding owners during their campaigns.

Although such a policy may appear to be in the best interests of the country, it would likely cause widespread legal and social chaos throughout the United States. However, a significant portion of the Democratic Party base appears to be unconcerned. Rural, conservative regions of the country have already stated their opposition to any effort to implement gun confiscation with law enforcement agencies and sheriff’s departments.
