Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has refused to participate in a name-calling match with former President Trump even as the 2024 Republican primary season is heating up. This much is obvious. It’s also evident that when DeSantis does take on Trump, his strategies are often successful, or ought to be.
In a six-minute film, a number of left-leaning media figures compare the Florida governor to the former president and call him “more dangerous” or even “far more dangerous.”
In the video, titled “6 Minutes of the Left Admitting That They Fear DeSantis Even More Than Trump,” political commentator for CNN Van Jones, “movement attorney, political commentator, author, and an abolition thinker” Olayemi Olurin, among other left-wingers are making it clear that they are more afraid of a DeSantis nomination than they are a Trump revival.
Jones states in the video, “This man has become worse than Trump. What this means is: This person presents a far more formidable challenge towards the left-wing agenda compared to Trump.” (in Jones’s opinion, I’m assuming).
In addition, Frost says, “If you believed Donald Trump was bad, you have another thing coming.”
Ultimately, Olurin said:
“I genuinely think that DeSantis was created in Hell. I have no doubts about that. He is genuinely more evil than Trump, do you know why? Because he has less nonsense.”
“Forged in the fires of hell.” Given the source, that in itself was quite an honor for DeSantis.
David Pakman, a liberal host of a talk program, concurred:
“Ron Desantis is a perfect example of a person who is less cartoonishly troublesome and would be considerably more likely to advance the Trump agenda.”

Former Republican Representative David Jolly poses a challenging query with a hidden agenda:
“Given what he’s accomplished in Florida in just five years, what would he do if he had access to all the reins of power at the White House?”
