Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hinted that former President Donald Trump might take his animosity toward media and opponents to violent lengths if he won the next 2024 presidential election.
Clinton discussed Trump’s actions and statements, the 2020 and 2016 presidential elections, the Supreme Court, President Joe Biden, and the next 2024 presidential election with presenter Marc Elias.
We have not discussed the foreign scene too much, but you know—his friendship with Putin. I believe the former prime minister of Australia was the one who first brought up the subject. He claimed to have seen Trump with Putin, and that Trump was “just gaga over Putin because Putin does what he [Trump] would love to do: kill the opposition, imprison the opposition, push journalists and others into exile, and rule without any check or balance,” Clinton said. “That is Trump’s true desire.”
Clinton’s remarks coincide with Rep. Bennie Thompson’s (D-MS) introduction of the DISGRACED Act, which would revoke Trump’s Secret Service protection in the event that his trial results in a conviction.

The former secretary of state went on to say that Trump “only sees strong macho leaders” and that people should be “extremely careful of how” he “sees the world.”
“He notices Kim Jong-un in North Korea, Xi, and Putin,” added Clinton. “We have traveled this path in our, you know, international history, and they are the individuals he is modeling himself after.” “We really do not want to take that route once more.”
The former secretary of state and unsuccessful presidential candidate has previously hinted that Trump has cooperated with Russia or that Putin and Trump have worked together.
In September 2023, Clinton issued a warning about Putin’s potential meddling in the 2024 presidential election when speaking with Jen Psaki, the former press secretary for the White House.
Before this conversation, in May 2023, Special Counsel John Durham issued a report in which he concluded that the FBI and Department of Justice had no business looking into the Trump campaign.
Durham’s assessment also revealed that the Clinton team had developed a scheme to “vilify Trump by connecting him to Vladimir Putin,” according to “very important intelligence” the FBI had acquired from a reliable foreign source.
