Allegedly, in 2019, wire transfers of over $250,000 dollars were paid from communist China to Hunter Biden, the son of President Biden. The recipient of the funds was designated as Joe Biden’s Delaware residence.
James Comer (R-KY), the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, reportedly received the data via subpoenaing bank records. The report stated that the banks revealed “records of two wire transfers coming from Beijing, China and connected to BHR Partners,” a joint venture that included Hunter Biden’s business and a Chinese investment firm where he was a board member.
In the summer of 2019, two wires worth a total of $260,000 had been sent to Hunter Biden. The checks were made out to him and his father’s house in Delaware was given as the address.
It was said in the report that Hunter Biden was living in the house at different times between 2017 and 2019, but it wasn’t clear if he was actually there at the time the $10,000 wire was sent out in July 2019 or when a second wire for $250,000 was sent in August 2019.
“President Biden lies, not bank documents,” according to Comer’s statement. “Back in 2020, Joe Biden told the people of the United States that China never sent him or his family money. We already showed that to be false earlier this year, and now we know that when Joe Biden was running for President of the United States, two wires from Beijing put his home in Wilmington as the address where the money should be sent. Jonathan Li and Joe Biden talked on the phone and drank coffee in Beijing when Biden was vice president. Biden then wrote a college reference letter for Li’s children.”
“Our national security is at risk because Joe Biden uses his position of power to help his family make money,” he said. “What did the Bidens do with this Chinese money? People in the US want and deserve someone to be held responsible for the crimes of President Biden as well as the First Family. Along with the Judiciary and Ways and Means Panels, the Oversight Panel will keep an eye on the proof and the money to make sure that everything is clear and that people are held accountable.”
