According to a story released this week, President Biden has once again been accused of yelling and abusing his own employees when in private.
Alex Thompson of Axios published a post titled “Old yeller: Biden’s private fury” in which he detailed the charges.
The tale illustrates the concept. In public, Biden loves to present himself as a lovely person who enjoys eating ice cream and speaking with young children, but in private, he apparently has a tendency to hurl expletives. To quote Thompson:
“Biden has such a volatile temper when alone that several aides attempt to steer clear of meeting with him. Some people use a coworker as a kind of a shield when facing a single attack.”
The president warns, “Do not f**king bullsh*t me,” and “God dammit, how the f**k didn’t you know that!” and “Get the f**k out from here!” — according to present and former Biden staffers who have seen similar outbursts and experienced them firsthand.
The story continues to build an image of a president who frequently shouts at his staff in order to get his way. Both senior and junior assistants can be in Biden’s line of fire. As one administration official put it, “No one is safe,” according to Axios.
In late 2021, when the Omicron variation increased, there was a scarcity of testing supplies. Biden aides allegedly still speak about how upset he had become with Jeff Zients, the admin.’s “COVID czar,” at the time.
According to a spokesperson for Zients, “I am not going into detail as to what the internal convos might or might not have taken place involving Jeff and the president.”
According to the Axios report, a number of Biden’s closest confidants “believe the president would probably be better off periodically displaying his temper publicly as a way to allay voter concerns about whether the 80-year-old president has become disconnected and too old for the job.” Even so, some are so perplexed by the outbursts that they believe the president ought to make them public.
Biden’s tendency for becoming angry at people who are closest to him has already been made public before.
As Breitbart News noted, the president was accused of frequently having angry outbursts when subjected to unwelcome inquiries, particularly those pertaining to the corruption of the Biden family.
Biden has also become enraged by inflation, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the integrity of elections, and his own level of mental health.
