Liberals In Shock As Trump Gets The Upper Hand

The FBI’s search of Mar-a-Lago will benefit former President Donald Trump, according to a CNN panel Tuesday.

After the FBI raided his personal residence, Trump biographer Michael D’Antonio said that Trump is “thrilled.”

“I believe they’ve been preparing for this for years,” D’Antonio stated. “He’s been waiting for this opportunity all along,” he continued. Within hours, Trump released a campaign-style commercial. This was carefully planned ahead of time.

“So, he’s an expert in turning everything into news,” the author concluded. “He thinks all publicity is beneficial, and that this hardline Trump support — 35 percent of the electorate — will be thrilled by it. I believe he had a good day, actually.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin, who was in the Trump administration, agreed that the operation benefited President Trump’s reelection chances.

“This is, I’m hoping, something that goes beyond simply not following certain archiving rules or the DOJ just handing Donald Trump the GOP nominee and potentially the presidency,” Griffin added. “If this is seen as a huge overreach rather than a major matter, it’s going to be a very good day for Donald Trump.”

Dana Bash, a CNN anchor, even suggested that Trump may profit from the stunning development.

“In the short term, it appears to be precisely what Alyssa said. I’ve spoken with a number of Republicans who believe that just the political way he handled this was vintage Trump. And for his short-term political aim — if he gets the Republican nomination, which is genius from a political standpoint — it’s absolutely brilliant,” she added.

“Look at the buzzwords he used in his statement, ‘occupied’ and ‘raid,’ as I said. He essentially called it the deep state, which kindles and animates the people who not only approve of him but also worry about him losing his mojo, according to those around Trump. He was having problems raising money. And this is why he thinks that this will reverse things,” she continued.

Following the FBI’s entry, Trump released a campaign-style video ad, further evidence that he is preparing to formally declare his presidential bid in the near future.

According to Griffin, Trump had planned to declare his presidential bid in September, but will now push it up in light of the FBI’s seizure.
