More than half of potential voters (59%) are in favor of former President Donald Trump’s recent trip to Arlington National Cemetery at the request of 13 Gold Star families.
People who knew the 13 U.S. soldiers who died in a terrorist attack in 2021 during the Biden-Harris administration’s botched exit from Afghanistan asked Trump to join them last month at an annual memorial service to honor their loved ones.
To no one’s surprise, Democrats and the corporate media went crazy over this and quickly worked together to say that Trump was taking advantage of the situation to politicize Arlington. They also said it was especially bad that people were taking pictures at the event.
We later learned from the Gold Star families that they asked for the cameras to be there, and for a very good reason: the White House and the corporate media have refused to even mention these 13 brave soldiers who died needlessly because of how badly the Biden-Harris White House had run things. These families want people to remember their loved ones, and what better way to do that than to hold a funeral service with a past president and film it so that it will last forever?
Okay, so this is what we’ve come to expect from Democrats and their media friends who are becoming less responsible. That’s right, they did it again. I didn’t even stop to read or comment on this story. There’s water. The grass is green. The fake news says Trump is always wrong.
After that, things got interesting…
Instead of letting her political and media stooges handle this fight for her, Vice President Kamala Harris made the stupid decision to get involved in the non-controversy after her botched CNNLOL interview with her running mate, Gov. Tim “Stolen Valor” Walz. It was clear that she wanted to make the story bigger so that it would take attention away from that terrible interview on the Sunday shows that were coming up.
“A fight broke out with graveyard staff because Donald Trump’s team decided to film a video there,” she tweeted in part. “I want to be clear: the former president bowed down on holy ground for political reasons.”
The worst thing about Kamala’s tweet was near the end…
She wrote, “I will always respect the service and sacrifice of all of America’s lost heroes, who gave their lives for our beloved country and our dear freedoms. I mourn for them and honor them. And I will never make them political.”
