According to a new poll from the Convention of States, the most of Independents, 53.9 percent, think that Trump’s political foes are responsible for the FBI Raid. They agree with 76.7 percent of Republicans who feel the same way. The two groups are also in agreement on their eagerness to vote as a result of the FBI raid. 83.3 percent of Republicans and 71.7% of Independents were motivated by the spectacle to go out and vote.
The raid was seen as fair punishment by nearly three-quarters of Trump-Hostile Democrats, according to a YouGov poll. The operation did not elicit the same degree of enthusiasm among Democrats that it did among Republicans, with only 55.2% saying it made a difference.
“Independents and Republicans alike are enraged by this shocking development in America’s history. It’s obvious to voters that the FBI search was intended to punish the main political opponent of the regime that is in power,” said Mark Meckler, pres. of the Convention of States. “This Gestapo-like injustice has triggered a voting surge so significant that polling isn’t even close to capturing what grassroots voters will do in November.”
According to the groups, roughly 80% of Americans already believe we have a two-tiered justice system. For many on the political right, watching the operation may have reinforced that belief. Significant percentages of respondents think that federal agencies are too large and too political in another poll. Yet another found an increase in support for a Convention of States.
As America loses faith in the criminal justice system and becomes weary of big government, the Biden DOJ succumbs to media pressure to “do something” about Trump. It now looks like the Democrats are beginning to understand that they went too far with the raid.
