According to a former federal attorney speaking to Fox News anchor Mike Emanuel, Hunter Biden’s alleged business operations put the Biden family in grave legal danger.
“[President Joe Biden] should be concerned, I think, clearly concerned about his son who has had a very troublesome background, but in terms of the inquiry, I think the rhetoric that we are hearing now about the prospect of a resolution of the case with tax charges and maybe the whole statement that you refer to, may be a scripted event, what gets brushed under the rug is the issue that is of relevance to the country, which is the reality that foreign regimes…such as China, pouring millions into the coffers of the Biden family.”
According to reports, federal officials think there is enough proof to indict Hunter Biden for tax offenses and contravening federal gun rules. Republicans who claim that President Biden frequently met with Hunter Biden’s business associates have questioned if the President’s business dealings have compromised him.
McCarthy stated, “I truly think we make a mistake when we talk about the Hunter Biden probe, which is really a diversion from the reality that what is intriguing and of concern to the American people is not what Hunter cautiously calls his tax matter, but really the reality that all these regimes poured millions and millions of dollars into the Biden family and the fact that now the president directly is involved in at least one of those dealings.”
In 2020, President Biden refuted claims that Hunter Biden engaged in illicit commercial practices with China.
McCarthy said, “I anticipate it will happen here and fact, I think what’s going to occur here, we better have programming on Christmas Eve because, you see, it will be one of these occasions where officials discreetly bring him into court and you know, he pleads guilty to small charges and they hope that the remainder of the inquiry goes away.” “I believe that if the Republicans take back at least one house of Congress, the matter will not go away because, as I would anticipate, they will actively look into the relevant facts of the case. These facts do not include Hunter Biden’s tax situation or the misuse of the gun or the false statement he filed in connection with it; these are minor issues. The foreign funds that were deposited into the Biden family’s bank accounts are what matter here.”
