President Donald Trump has done what the establishment never wanted—he’s ordered the full declassification of files related to three of the most pivotal assassinations in U.S. history: President John F. Kennedy, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In an executive order signed last week, Trump directed the Director of National Intelligence and the attorney general to present a plan within 45 days to fully release all remaining classified documents. “I have now determined that the continued redaction and withholding of information from records pertaining to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not consistent with the public interest, and the release of these records is long overdue,” Trump’s order stated.
This is a massive move that could blow the lid off decades of government secrecy. Congress actually passed a law in 1992—the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act—mandating that all JFK-related records be made public by 2017. But as always, the Deep State swooped in to block transparency. The CIA and FBI pressured Trump to withhold hundreds of records, citing the usual excuse of “national security.” Trump, under immense pressure, delayed the release, saying the potential harm to U.S. security was too great.
Meanwhile, former President Joe Biden played his own stall game, dribbling out redacted documents in 2021, 2022, and 2023, before claiming last July that 99% of the records had been made public. But 99% isn’t 100%, and Trump knows that last 1% is where the real bombshells are buried.
This time, however, Trump isn’t just focusing on JFK. His new order extends to RFK and MLK, making this the biggest declassification order in modern U.S. history. This is about more than history—it’s about truth, accountability, and dismantling the Deep State’s grip on American politics.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, praised the decision, stating:
“The 60-year strategy of lies and secrecy, disinformation, censorship, and defamation employed by Intel officials to obscure and suppress troubling facts about JFK’s assassination has provided the playbook for a series of subsequent crises — the MLK and RFK assassinations, Vietnam, 9/11, the Iraq war and COVID.”
Of course, not everyone is happy. JFK’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, had the audacity to whine on social media that Trump was “using JFK as a political prop” and called the move “not heroic.” Maybe Schlossberg is more concerned about protecting the family legacy than uncovering the truth.
What’s clear is that the establishment has spent six decades covering up the truth about these assassinations. Why? What are they so desperate to hide? With Trump back in office and determined to drain the swamp once and for all, the American people might finally get the answers they deserve.
