Trump Triggers Nerve! Michigan Governor LIVID Over What He Did

Former President Donald Trump was criticized by Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan when he traveled there on Tuesday to discuss the death of Ruby Garcia, 25, who was reportedly slain by an illegal immigrant.

On Tuesday night, Whitmer joined presenter Kaitlan Collins on CNN to talk about a variety of topics, including Trump’s remarks on illegal immigration. The former president warned that the current border issue under President Joe Biden has transformed “every state” into “a border state.” during a speech he gave on Tuesday afternoon at a campaign event with law enforcement in Grand Rapids.

Whitmer remarked, “The previous president was in Grand Rapids today, and he was profiting off a terrible event that occurred here.”” Ruby Garcia was a real person with a genuine story, and her family is grieving her passing. And the incident is a terrible tale.

Whitmer continued, “[Trump] entered to maintain the ongoing narrative that he had done everything to keep us secure, which is absurd.” “We are aware that under the Trump administration, the governor of Michigan called the president to request assistance in deploying the National Guard to assist with border monitoring, and we provided support to him as he was unable to complete the task.”

The governor of Michigan also accused Trump of being responsible for Congress’s inability to enact laws that would have addressed immigration and border security. Before taking more border-related action, Biden had requested the enactment of these changes.

Additionally, it was because of him that the negotiations in Washington, D.C., failed. He ruined an agreement that President Biden had put forth that would have provided the greatest border security our nation has seen in decades. Republicans heeded his advice and left, according to Whitmer.

Republicans should not support the border measure, according to Trump, who called it a “Stupid Bill” and declared that “unless we get everything required to stop down the invasion of millions and millions of people, many from areas unknown, into our once great, but soon to be great again, country!” House Republican leaders rejected the plan, claiming that it “will actually reward more illegal immigration and fail in every single area needed to protect our border.”

Trump referred to Whitmer as “a bad governor” during his address in Michigan on Tuesday, saying that she and Biden are “taking your money to give free homes to illegals and then asking you to quarter these people.”

Whitmer told Collins that “those talking points do not matter a whole lot to folks every day” in response to Trump’s attack.

Michiganders are industrious individuals. They look for leaders who understand their challenges and want to find solutions. I will continue to focus on doing just that, and I have no doubt that President Biden will do the same,” she continued.

The Whitmer administration’s new “Michigan Newcomer Rental Subsidy Program,” which provides refugees and migrants with monthly payments of up to $500, has prompted concerns from Republican leaders in Michigan. The program may assist those who entered the country illegally in covering the cost of state housing, according to the GOP legislators.

The leader of the Michigan House Republican Party, Matt Hall, told The Daily Wire last week that “Gretchen Whitmer’s rent subsidy scheme makes freebies available to illegals who were caught in the nation and then hurriedly sought asylum to avoid deportation.” “The taxpayers who are funding this questionable program need the Whitmer administration to be transparent about it.” Citizens of Michigan should not have their money taken away to compensate people who violated our immigration rules.
