Accidental deaths occurred last week, killing seven charity workers in Gaza. In the same manner that the IDF murdered three hostages by mistake in December, this catastrophe, however terrible, was also an accident. Paradoxically, the hypocrites who took pride in the IDF’s errors some months prior are now criticizing Israel for the same error. And when it comes to being a hypocrite, Nancy Pelosi is the worst. She has joined forces with radical leftists in Congress to ask President Biden to renounce his pledge to provide arms to Israel.
Considering how quiet Pelosi has been over the killing of so many Israeli civilians, her hypocrisy is shocking. Her reluctance to speak out about the killings in Afghanistan, when American planes unintentionally destroyed 42 lives during an attack on a Kunduz hospital run by Doctors Without Borders, is disheartening. Furthermore, her silence on “women’s rights” is deafening when you consider her lack of response to the countless rapes committed by Hamas.
Pelosi continually demonstrates that becoming older does not equate to becoming wiser or more morally upright. Her propensity to appease radicals in her party to get more power for herself—or, maybe more accurately, more power for her San Francisco buddy Gavin Newsom—is the only thing that has grown.
It is utterly ridiculous to consider withholding weaponry from Israel, especially in light of Biden’s generous financial support of Iran. Not only is it intellectually dishonest, but it poses a threat to America.
Israel is the sole democracy and the only genuine partner of the United States in the Middle East. Neglecting Israel would be denying two unalterable facts. The first fact is something I initially heard Sen. Marco Rubio say at a brunch. The world watches us for how we handle Israel because of the long-standing partnership between the US and Israel and Israel’s strong lobbying efforts. In particular, all of our allies want to know if we will abandon Israel. Because other allies begin to worry when the United States will abandon them, given that our administration is prepared to betray an ally of more than 75 years in her hour of need. Allies like Japan, France, and England start to question if the United States will ever sever its alliance. And when they see how the United States treats Israel, they begin to search for new allies, like China or Russia. The United States needs these other international partnerships, and betraying Israel would assure losing them.
Pelosi’s idiocy shows that she has no idea who or what Hamas is. By definition, Hamas is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. This group claims America is Satan and is committed to overthrowing the country and installing an Islamic theocracy across the globe. The “obliteration” of America and all Jews is the principal goal of Hamas.
However, Nancy Pelosi would prefer that Hamas continue to rule than to back Israel, if doing so would give her more clout with her party’s radical left wing. Rather than defend US interests, she would prefer to form political alliances with radical leftists that might eventually lead to her and/or her allies gaining power. Her signing this petition to Biden demonstrates her lack of morality and care for our country and further establishes her as the quintessential nasty politician who would stop at nothing to get power.
In addition to endangering America, Pelosi’s actions demonstrate her hate for Israel, particularly a resilient Israel that she and her kind are unable to subdue. Had she truly been concerned about unintentional fatalities, she would have taken aggressive measures when additional unintentional deaths during wartime happened throughout the years. Rather, she has constantly refrained from speaking when it may damage the Democratic Party’s reputation. Let us examine some of the numerous incidents that Pelosi remained mostly silent about: 5.5 million people died in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; 500,000 in Syria; 500,000 in Sudan; 400,000 in Yemen; and 300,000 in Iraq. However, with 20,000 people dead in Gaza from a war Hamas started with the atrocities on October 7, Nancy is all of a sudden furious and joins petitions to forsake America’s lone friend in the area.
“No Jews, no news,” as one commentator on X once said. Like many on the radical left, Pelosi is uninterested in humanitarian help unless it serves as a pretext to criticize Israel. Nancy Pelosi could have condemned the aforementioned atrocities with her strong voice if she truly cared about other people’s pain.
But up until this point, her strong voice had remained mute.
Rather, Nancy Pelosi has once again shown that, as she gets older, she only wants more personal power—a position made even more hazardous by the current state of affairs in Israel.
